<div><p>Complete this task to start connections you will initiate locally.</p>

<div class="section">These instructions assume you have properly configured your VPN connection.
|
|
Follow these steps to start your VPN connection:</div>
|
|
<ol><li><span>In <span class="keyword">iSeries™ Navigator</span>,
|
|
expand your <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">server</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Network</span> > <span class="uicontrol"> IP Policies</span></span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>If the VPN server is not started, right-click <span class="uicontrol">Virtual
|
|
Private Networking</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Start</span>. This
|
|
starts the VPN server.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Ensure your packet rules are activated.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Virtual Private Networking</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Secure Connections</span></span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">All Connections</span> to display a list
|
|
of connections in the right pane.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Right-click the connection you want to start and select <span class="uicontrol">Start</span>.
|
|
To start multiple connections, select each connection you want to start, right-click
|
|
and select <span class="uicontrol">Start</span>.</span></li>
