Start a VPN connection

Complete this task to start connections you will initiate locally.

These instructions assume you have properly configured your VPN connection. Follow these steps to start your VPN connection:

In iSeries™ Navigator, expand your server > Network > IP Policies.
If the VPN server is not started, right-click Virtual Private Networking and select Start. This starts the VPN server.
Ensure your packet rules are activated.
Expand Virtual Private Networking > Secure Connections.
Click All Connections to display a list of connections in the right pane.
Right-click the connection you want to start and select Start. To start multiple connections, select each connection you want to start, right-click and select Start.
