<div><p>Record the system reference codes on the Problem summary form.</p>

<div class="section">If you have a Model 270 or 8xx:</div>

<ol><li><span>Press the increment button until <span class="uicontrol">05</span> appears
|
|
on the Function/Data display and press Enter. Record the information that
|
|
displays.</span></li>
|

<li><span>Press the increment button again until <span class="uicontrol">11</span> appears
|
|
on the Function/Data display and press Enter. Record the information that
|
|
displays.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Press the increment button again, the number <span class="uicontrol">12</span> displays.
|
|
Press Enter, and record the 32-character code: 16 characters from line one,
|
|
and 16 characters from line two, of the Function/Data display.</span></li>
|

<li><span>Press the increment button again, the number <span class="uicontrol">13</span> displays
|
|
on the first line of the Function/Data display. Press Enter, and record the
|
|
32-character code: 16 characters from line one, and 16 characters from line
|
|
two, of the Function/Data display. </span></li>

<li><span>Press the increment button again until the number <span class="uicontrol">20</span> displays
|
|
on the first line of the Function/Data display. Press Enter, and record the
|
|
32-character code: 16 characters from line one, and 16 characters from line
|
|
two, of the Function/Data display.</span></li>

<div class="section"> <div class="note"><span class="notetitle">Notes:</span> <ol><li>For earlier models, if you have an expansion unit attached to your system,
|
|
select <span class="uicontrol">Function 05</span>, and record the system reference
|
|
codes. </li>
|
|
<li>If <span class="uicontrol">11-3</span> is shown in the Function/Data display on
|
|
the control display, then the numbers that follow are the system reference
|
|
codes.</li>
|
|
<li>If a number other than 11-3 is shown in the Function/Data
|
|
display, the number might not indicate a problem with the system. These codes
|
|
might indicate functions that you select from the control panel display. </li>
|
|
<li>If you have a display station with Type and Reference Code columns on
|
|
it, record the data under the Type column as the first 4 characters of function
|
|
11 on the <a href="rzahbgatherinfo.htm#rzahbgatherinfo">problem summary
|
|
form</a>. If an A, B, C, or D is displayed as the first digit in the Type
|
|
column, use the data in the Reference Code column as the last four characters
|
|
of function 11. Go to <a href="rzahbrparzahbrpb.htm#rzahbrparzahbrpb">Report problems: Overview</a> for
|
|
information about who to contact if you need more help.</li>
