<div><p>The LAN access priority (LANACCPTY) parameter of your Systems Network
|
|
Architecture (SNA) controller description determines a token's
|
|
priority.</p>
|
|
<p><strong>Performance problems:</strong></p>
|
|
<p>The higher the priority, the greater the chances are that the remote station
|
|
will quickly receive the token. The greater the access priority value, the
|
|
more tokens the remote station receives. The greater value also increases
|
|
your system's chances for sending its frame. These considerations are important
|
|
if your system accesses a heavily used ring (not many free tokens available)
|
|
and your application program needs priority treatment. </p>
|
