The LANACCPTY parameter

The LAN access priority (LANACCPTY) parameter of your Systems Network Architecture (SNA) controller description determines a token's priority.

Performance problems:

The higher the priority, the greater the chances are that the remote station will quickly receive the token. The greater the access priority value, the more tokens the remote station receives. The greater value also increases your system's chances for sending its frame. These considerations are important if your system accesses a heavily used ring (not many free tokens available) and your application program needs priority treatment.
