Change the system value settings

Change the system value settings on both the primary partition and each secondary partition by completing the following steps.

  1. From a command line, type the Work with System Values (WRKSYSVAL) command for the system values QAUTOCFG, QIPLTYPE, and QPFRADJ to work with the settings.
  2. Record the value for each system value setting. These values need to be restored later.
    • _____ QAUTOCFG
    • _____ QIPLTYPE
    • _____ QPFRADJ
  3. Change the settings to the following values:
    • QAUTOCFG = 0
    • QIPLTYPE = 2
    • QPFRADJ = 2
