Match iSeries system parameters for 4680/4690 LINK parameter

You must coordinate parameters between the iSeries™ server and the 4680 store controller. The following tables lists the parameter values. The 4680 controller requires configuration of the SDLC/SNA LINK parameter.

iSeries parameters are listed in alphabetical order; the commands on which the parameters are specified are included in the rightmost column of the table.

Use the following table to connect an iSeries server to a 4680/4690 retail controller.

iSeries Prompt	iSeries Parameter	4680 Link Parameter
Exchange identifier	EXCHID	For switched lines only, the 4680 EXCHANGE ID parameter must match the EXCHID parameter specified on the iSeries CRTCTLRTL command.
Local location address	LOCADR	4680 SESSION ADDRESS parameter must match the LOCADR parameter specified on the iSeries CRTDEVRTL command. Session address 01 is reserved for host command processor sessions.
SSCP identifier	SSCPID	4680 SSCP ID parameter must match the SSCPID parameter specified on the iSeries CRTCTLRTL command.
