Example: iSeries server connection to a 4690 retail controller

The iSeries™ server retail communications provide the ability to attach retail controllers to the iSeries server. Retail communications manage data with the intersystem communications function (ICF) file. For communications to begin between programs, the retail communications device must first be configured and varied on.
