7684e78132 gitlab: add initial MacOS 15 on gitlab runner
The gitlab runners are currently in beta but available to projects on
the Premium and Ultimate plans (which QEMU is via the Open Source
program).

We install some compilers via brew so we can run some of the check-tcg
softmmu test cases.

We disable rust as the version is too old.

We disable plugins because we haven't taught the test harness about
.dynlib vs .so yet.

There is a discrepancy between the vars and version of MacOS because
lcitool needs teaching about other versions (although I don't think it
matters as brew is shared across versions).

3822df47c2 Remove the deprecated glusterfs block driver
Glusterfs has been marked as deprecated since QEMU v9.2, and as far
as I know, nobody spoke up 'til today that it should be kept.
The listed e-mail address integration@gluster.org in our MAINTAINERS
file seems to be bouncing nowadays, and looking at their website
https://www.gluster.org/ the most recent news are from 2020 / 2021 ...
so it seems like there is really hardly any interest in Glusterfs
anymore. Thus it's time to remove the code now from QEMU.

643a171f56 tests: Replace ncat with socat in migration test and drop ncat from containers
nmap / ncat has a somewhat problematic license (e.g. saying claiming
that derived work is also considered for software that "is designed
specifically to execute Covered Software and parse the results", e.g.
by executing ncat from your own program, you might already fall into
this category) - so for example in openSUSE 16, you can only find it
in the "non-OSS" repository.

We are currently only using it in the migration functional test, and
that likely does not fall into this "derived work" category yet (since
it is also doing some other stuff), but still, to be safe, we should
move away from using it now.

Unfortunately, switching to one of the other flavors of netcat is
also not a real option (see commit f700abbbeb),
but socat should be a solid replacement here instead.

To avoid that someone else easily uses ncat again, let's also remove
it from our container files now.

5859803c77 tests/lcitool: Update openSUSE to version 16
The first version of openSUSE 15 has been released in 2018, and

047fa5b4d7 tests/lcitool: add python3 wheel and setuptools deps for qemu
Installing local dependencies while offline, without PyPI access,
requires the python3-setuptools and python3-wheel packages. Most
distributions have these available anyway for one reason or another, but
not all of them.

If you are asking yourself "Wait, aren't these packages guaranteed via
installation of pip, via the ensurepip module, which mkvenv takes
immense pains to provide for us?" - Well... since Python 3.13, "pip"
does not actually come with "setuptools" or "wheel" anymore, and so if
we want to build and install a python package, we actually need these
available in the host environment.

(Note that you don't need these packages just to install a pre-built
package, you only need them to *build* a package. With cutting edge
setuptools and pip, all locally installed packages, even in editable
mode, must be "built" first before being installed. Thus, these
dependencies are being added specifically to facilitate installing
qemu.git/python/qemu to the configure-time venv.)

53de966c3e build, dockerfiles: add support for detecting rustdoc
rustdoc is effectively a custom version of rustc, and it is necessary to
specify it in order to run doctests from Meson. Add the relevant configure
option and environment variables.

0074a47147 meson: update to version 1.8.1
This adds several improvements to Rust support, including
native clippy and rustdoc targets, the "objects" keyword,
and running doctests.

Require it only when Rust support is requested, to avoid
putting a strict requirement on all build platforms for the
sake of an experimental feature.

641f1c5386 lcitool: use newer Rust for Debian and Ubuntu
On Debian, the rustc-web package provides a newer Rust compiler (1.78)
for all architectures except mips64el.

On Ubuntu, Rust versions up to 1.80 (?) are available as of this writing
for both Jammy (22.04) and Noble (24.04). However, the path to rustc
and rustdoc must be provided by hand to the configure script using
either command line arguments or environment variables.

66944b69b2 tests/docker: move riscv64 cross container from sid to trixie
Although riscv64 isn't going to be a release architecture for trixie
the packages are still built while it is testing. Moving from sid will
also avoid some of the volatility we get from tracking the bleeding
edge.

453005c01a tests/lcitool: bump to latest version of libvirt-ci
We will shortly need this to build our riscv64 cross container.
However to keep the delta down just do the bump first. As ccache4 is
now preferred for FreeBSD to get the latest version there is a little
update in the FreeBSD metadata.

7a383b993e tests: refresh package lists with latest libvirt-ci
This updates the libvirt-ci submodule to pull in various fixes,
the most notable reducing native package sets in cross builds.
Some packages were mistakenly marked as native, rather than
foreign, in libvirt-ci. Fixing this causes our dockerfiles to
pick up the cross arch package instead of native one, thus
improving our test coverage in a few areas.

951f71ad67 dockerfiles: install bindgen from cargo on Ubuntu 22.04
Because Ubuntu 22.04 has a very old version of bindgen, that
does not have the important option --allowlist-file, it will
not be able to use --enable-rust out of the box. Instead,
install the latest version of bindgen-cli via "cargo install"
in the container, following QEMU's own documentation.
