<h3 id="rzau6fromvm">Send print data from a VM S/390&reg; to the output queue of a user ID</h3>
<p>A z/VM&reg; can issue a PRINT or a PSF command to place a file directly into
an i5/OS&trade; user's output queue.</p>
<p><span class="bold">Example using the PRINT command </span></p>
<p> These commands place the file <tt class="xph">REPORTS LETTER A</tt> into the output
queue of <tt class="xph">USERONE</tt> on i5/OS with the node ID <tt class="xph">AS4002</tt>.</p>

<p>These commands place the file <tt class="xph">REPORTS LISTING A</tt> into the output
queue of <tt class="xph">USERONE</tt> on i5/OS with the node ID <tt class="xph">AS4002</tt>.</p>

<p><span class="bold">Using the PSF command</span></p>
<p>These commands place the line data spooled file into an i5/OS. They use these
variables: </p>
<dl>
<dt class="bold">Spooled file name:</dt>
<dd><tt class="xph">reports letter a</tt>
</dd>
<dt class="bold">User ID that owns the output queue:</dt>
<dd><tt class="xph">userone</tt>
</dd>
<dt class="bold">iSeries&trade; server node ID:</dt>
<dd><tt class="xph">is002</tt>
</dd>
</dl><p class="indatacontent"> A page definition will be used when the data is printed. When using
the PSF command, you must place the characters P1 in front of the page definition
name. When using a form definition, you must place the characters F1 in front
of the form definition name. This example uses a page definition named P1MYFORM. </p>
