<div><p>Find information on how to add an entry to your Sametime<sup>®</sup> presence
|
|
list (also known as a buddy list).</p>
|
|
<div class="section"><p>In the IBM<sup>®</sup> Telephone Directory V5.2 application, you can add
|
|
an entry to your Sametime presence list if the application administrator
|
|
has enabled Sametime support
|
|
in the application. Only administrators can set up Sametime support.</p>
|
|
<p>To
|
|
add an entry to your Sametime contact list (also known as a buddy list),
|
|
perform the following steps:</p>
|
|

<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Access the IBM Telephone Directory application by entering the following
|
|
URL in your Web browser:</span> <pre>http://<em>your.server.name:port</em>/ibm-bizApps/welcome/home.do</pre>
|
|
<p>where <em>your.server.name</em> is the name of the server where IBM Telephone Directory V5.2 is installed
|
|
and <em>port</em> is the port number that was specified during installation.</p>
|
|

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">IBM Telephone Directory</span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">Search</span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Enter criteria to search for (such as a last name), and click <span class="uicontrol">Search</span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>In the entry, click <span class="uicontrol">Add to Buddy List</span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Specify the Sametime group where you want to enter the person,
|
|
and click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span>.</span></li>
|

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span> to return to the IBM Telephone
|
|
Directory V5.2 application.</span></li>
