Work with Integrated xSeries Servers

iSeries™ Navigator
for Wireless provides you with the ability to manage your Integrated xSeries® Servers
from your wireless device.

If you have iSeries systems
that have Integrated xSeries Servers (IXS), simply add the IXS systems
to your system list, and you have the ability to manage your Integrated xSeries Servers.

When you select an iSeries system, you can either link to the system
properties, or you can view the IXS. You will notice right away that the link
to the IXS uses the same status as other iSeries Navigator for Wireless functions.
It tells you if any IXS needs attention, or if all of them are OK.

You can run Windows® commands on a single or all Integrated xSeries Servers,
and see the properties of each one. The Windows commands are started as Management
Central tasks, so you can keep track of the commands you run. The image below
shows IXS support in iSeries Navigator for wireless running in a traditional
browser format.

the details of each system.

Note: To manage integrated xSeries servers from the iSeries, the user ID and password must
be the same on both the xSeries and iSeries.
