<div><p>If you suspend <a href="rzalygeographicmirror.htm">Geographic mirroring</a>, you must resume geographic mirroring in order to reactivate
mirroring between the production and mirrored copies again. </p>
<div class="note"><span class="notetitle">Note:</span> When you resume geographic mirroring,
the production and mirror copies are synchronized concurrent with performing
geographic mirroring. Synchronization can be a lengthy process. If a disk
pool becoming unavailable interrupts synchronization, then synchronization
will continue from where it was interrupted when the disk pool becomes available
again. When an interrupted synchronization is continued, the first message
(CPI0985D) states that the synchronization is 0% complete.</div>
<div class="p">To resume geographic mirroring, follow these steps:<ol><li>In iSeries™ Navigator,
expand <span class="uicontrol">My Connections</span> (or your active environment).</li>
<li>Expand the server that owns the production copy of the disk pool for which
you want to resume geographic mirroring. </li>
<li>Expand <span class="uicontrol">Configuration and Service</span>.</li>
<li>Expand <span class="uicontrol">Hardware</span>.</li>
<li>Expand <span class="uicontrol">Disk Units</span>.</li>
<li>Expand <span class="uicontrol">Disk Pools</span>.</li>
<li>Right-click the <span class="uicontrol">Disk Pool</span> you want to resume and
select <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Geographic Mirroring</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Resume
Geographic Mirroring</span></span>.</li>
