<div><p>You can change the geographic mirroring
attributes for a disk pool from the production copy when the disk pool is
unavailable. The values specified for the primary disk pool for synchronous
or asynchronous performance mode and for recovery timeout are used for each
disk pool in the disk pool group. </p>
<p>For more information about geographic mirroring
attributes, see <a href="rzalygeoworks.htm">How geographic
mirroring works</a>.</p>
<p>To edit the disk pool attributes, follow these steps:</p>
<ol><li> In iSeries™ Navigator,
expand <span class="uicontrol">My Connections</span> (or your active environment).</li>
<li> Expand the iSeries server
that owns the production copy of the geographically mirrored disk pool for
which you want to edit the attributes.</li>
<li>Expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Configuration and Service</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Hardware</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Disk Units</span></span><span class="uicontrol">Disk Pools</span>. </li>
<li>Right-click the production copy of the <span class="uicontrol">Disk Pool</span> for
which you want to edit the attributes and select <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Geographic
Mirroring</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Change Attributes</span></span> .</li>
