<div><p>Using this option could cause lengthy recovery procedures. You should only
use this option for objects that you are protecting with journaling or commitment
control to avoid extremely complex recovery procedures.</p>
<p>Objects you are saving may reach checkpoints at different times. This option
will usually keep objects locked for the shortest period of time and use the
least amount of additional storage. But it will usually take the longest to
complete checkpoint processing. It will also result in the most complex recovery
procedures if you do not end your applications during the checkpoint processing.
Beginning with V5R3, when you save objects in libraries, *SYSDFN operates
the same as *LIB.</p>
