<p>The Update System Information (UPDSYSINF) command updates various system information that was gathered using the Retrieve System Information (RTVSYSINF) command. This command is used to restore full customization of your system.
|
|
</p>
|
|
<p>The following types of information can be updated:
|
|
</p>
|
|
<ul>
|
|
<li>Edit descriptions
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li>Network attributes
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li>Reply list entries
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li>Service attributes
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li>Service providers
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li>System values
|
|
</li>
|
|
</ul>

|
<p>

|
<b>Note: </b>Service attributes and service providers will only be restored if the source system was at V3R0M5 or later.
|
|
</p>

<p><b>Restrictions:</b> To use this command, you must have *SECADM, *ALLOBJ, *AUDIT, *JOBCTL, and *SAVSYS authority.

<p>Specifies the library where the system information was placed by the Retrieve System Information (RTVSYSINF) command.
