<h1 class="topictitle1">Add an EIM domain to the Domain Management folder</h1>

<div><div class="section"><p>To complete this task, you must have *SECADM special authority and the domain that you want to add must exist prior to adding it to the <span class="uicontrol">Domain Management</span> folder.</p>
|
|
<p>To add an existing Enterprise Identity Mapping (EIM) domain to the <span class="uicontrol">Domain Management</span> folder, complete these steps:</p>

<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Expand <span class="uicontrol">Network > Enterprise Identity Mapping </span>. </span></li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">Domain Management</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Add Domain...</span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>In the <span class="uicontrol">Add Domain</span> dialog, specify the required domain and connection information. Or, click <span class="uicontrol">Browse...</span> to view a list of domains that the specified domain controller manages.</span> <div class="note"><span class="notetitle">Note:</span> If you click <span class="uicontrol">Browse...</span>, the <span class="uicontrol">Connect to EIM Domain Controller</span> dialog displays. To view the list of domains, you must connect to the domain controller with either LDAP administrator <a href="rzalveservereimauths.htm#rzalveservereimauths">access control</a> or EIM administrator access control. The contents of the domain list vary based on the EIM access control that you have. If you have LDAP administrator access control, you can view a list of all domains that the domain controller manages. Otherwise the list displays only those domains for which you have EIM administrator access control.</div>
