<div><p>You can use Netstat from a character-based interface to help you
troubleshoot problems with TCP/IP connectivity.</p>
<div class="section"> <p>From the character-based interface, use the Work with Network
Status menu to work with the network status functions. You must have TCP/IP
started on the server to use the menu options. The menu options are activated
only when TCP/IP is started.</p>
<p>To start TCP/IP, type <kbd class="userinput">STRTCP</kbd> on
the command line, and press Enter.</p>
<p>To display the Work with Network
Status menu, type <kbd class="userinput">NETSTAT</kbd> or <kbd class="userinput">WRKTCPSTS</kbd> on
the command line, and press Enter. </p>

to begin troubleshooting:</p>
