<div><p>Use the instructions in the topic to help you configure corresponding
TCP/IP settings.</p>
<div class="section">You can view and change your TCP/IP settings using iSeries™ Navigator.
For instance, you can change properties for host or domain names, name server,
host table entries, system attributes, port restrictions, servers, or client
connections. You can change general properties or properties that are specific
to either IPv4 or IPv6, such as transports.<p>To access the general TCP/IP
property pages, follow these steps:</p>

<ol><li><span>In iSeries Navigator,
select your <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol"><var class="varname">your server</var></span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Network</span></span>.</span></li>
<li><span>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">TCP/IP Configuration</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Properties</span> to
open the <span class="uicontrol">TCP/IP Properties</span> dialog box.</span></li>
<li><span>Select the tabs at the top of the dialog box to view and edit TCP/IP
information.</span></li>

<ol><li>In iSeries Navigator,
select your <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol"><var class="varname">your server</var></span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Network</span></span>.</li>
<li>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">TCP/IP Configuration</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Host
Table</span> to open the <span class="uicontrol">Host Table</span> dialog box.</li>
<li>Use the <span class="uicontrol">Host Table</span> dialog box to add, edit, or
remove host table entries.</li>
</ol>
<p>To access property pages that are specific to IPv4, follow these steps:</p>
<ol><li>In iSeries Navigator,
select your <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Server</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Network</span></span>.</li>
<li>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">IPv4</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Properties</span> to
open the <span class="uicontrol">IPv4 Properties</span> dialog box.</li>
<li>Select the tabs at the top of the dialog box to view and edit the IPv4
property settings.</li>
