<p>The <tt>rmiregistry</tt> tool starts a remote object registry on
a specified port. It is compatible with the <tt>rmiregistry</tt>
tool that is supplied by Sun Microsystems, Inc.</p>
<p>The <tt>rmiregistry</tt> tool is available using the Qshell
Interpreter.</p>
