<div><p>Your server has several message queues that hold messages with
|
|
helpful information for finding and reporting problems.</p>
|

<div class="section"> <p>You can customize the way that a message queue notifies you of
|
|
messages.</p>

<p>To change the attributes of a message queue,
|
|
follow these steps:</p>

<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Enter the Change Message Queue command (CHGMSGQ) at the command
|
|
line.</span></li>
|

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Press F4 to prompt.</span></li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Enter the name of the message queue that you want to change in
|
|
the MSGQ parameter field.</span></li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Enter the name of the library that contains the message queue in
|
|
the message queue library field.</span></li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>To change the delivery notification, specify
|
|
the delivery (DLVRY) parameter. </span> <div class="note"><span class="notetitle">Note:</span> To view a list of values
|
|
for the delivery parameter, press F1.</div>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Press F10 for additional parameters.</span></li>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>To limit message delivery by severity codes, specify the numeric
|
|
value that you want to view in the field of the Severity code filter, SEV,
|
|
parameter field.</span></li>
