|

These read operations are allowed if the file was defined with an arrival sequence access path or with a keyed sequence access path with the ignore-keyed-sequence-access-path option specified on the Open Database File (OPNDBF) or the Open Query File (OPNQRYF) command.</li>

These read operations can be used with a keyed sequence access path to get database records.</li>

|
|
End-of-file delay is a method of continuing to read sequentially from a database file (logical or physical) after an end-of-file condition occurs.</li>
|
|
<li class="ulchildlink"><strong><a href="rbafoefrelr.htm">Release locked records</a></strong><br />
|
|
The system automatically releases a locked record when the record is updated or deleted, or when you read another record in the file. However, you might want to release a locked record without performing these operations.</li>
