<h2 id="ending">Stop OptiConnect</h2>
|
|
<p>Because OptiConnect runs under the QSOC subsystem, you can end OptiConnect
|
|
by shutting down QSOC. Before you end the OptiConnect subsystem on a particular
|
|
system, you should make sure that there are no OptiConnect application programs
|
|
that use the connection. See <a href="rzau3tipss.htm#tipss">Tips: How to start and stop your system with OptiConnect</a>.</p>
|
|
<p>If you are using remote journaling over OptiConnect on this system, end
|
|
it before ending the QSOC subsystem. Remote journal jobs do not get displayed
|
|
with the Work with Active Jobs (WRKACTJOB) command.</p>
|
|
<p>To end OptiConnect, enter the following command: </p>
|
|
<pre class="xmp"> ENDSBS QSOC *IMMED</pre>
|
|
<p>After the ENDSBS command is issued, the time required to end the OptiConnect
|
|
manager varies with the number of agent jobs to end in the subsystem. See <a href="rzau3tipss.htm#tipss">Tips: How to start and stop your system with OptiConnect</a> for more information on starting and stopping agent jobs. During
|
|
this time, the QSOC subsystem cannot be restarted.</p>
