<p>Use the WebSphere administrative console to configure the Java virtual machine
|
|
(JVM) logs for your application server.</p>
|
|
<p><strong>Note</strong>: Changes to a JVM log file while an application is running
|
|
are not applied until the application server is restarted.</p>
|
|
<p>To configure a JVM log file, follow these steps:</p>
|
|
<ol>
|
|
<li><a href="../admin/acstart.htm">Start the administrative console.</a></li>
|
|
<li>Expand <strong>Troubleshooting</strong>.</li>
|
|
<li>Click <strong>Logs and Trace</strong>.</li>
|
|
<li>Click your application server from the table.</li>
|
|
<li>Click <strong>JVM Logs</strong> from the <strong>Logging and Tracing</strong> table.</li>
|
|
<li>Click the <strong>Configuration</strong> tab. The panel displays the attribute
|
|
values currently assigned to your JVM log file. Make any configuration changes
|
|
and continue. </li>
|
|
<li>Click <strong>OK</strong>.</li>
|
|
<li>Click <strong>Save</strong> at the top of the page to save the log changes.</li>
|
|
<li>Click <strong>Save</strong> your changes for your application server configuration.</li>
|
|
