<h1 class="topictitle1">Verify that the domain appears in Domain Management</h1>
<div><div class="section"><p>Before you can create EIM identifiers, you need to ensure that
you have added the EIM domain that you are working with to <span class="uicontrol">Domain
Management</span>. If you have already added the EIM domain to <span class="uicontrol">Domain
Management</span>, you can skip the steps required to add the EIM domain
to <span class="uicontrol">Domain Management</span> and continue with the steps required
to create a new EIM identifier.</p>
<p>Add the EIM domain to Domain Management:</p>

<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Using the <span class="keyword">iSeries™ Navigator</span> on
the PC, expand the central system, <span class="uicontrol">iSeriesMC1</span>, under <span class="uicontrol">My
Connections</span>, and select <span class="uicontrol">Network→Enterprise Identity
Mapping→Domain Management</span>.</span></li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Right click <span class="uicontrol">Domain Management</span> and select <span class="uicontrol">Add
Domain</span>.</span></li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>On the <span class="uicontrol">Add Domain </span> page, ensure that the <span class="uicontrol">Domain
controller</span> field has the fully qualified name of the domain controller
for the domain that you want to add. </span> For this example, the domain
controller name is <samp class="codeph">iSeriesMC1.myco.com</samp> and the EIM domain
you want to add is <samp class="codeph">MyCoEimDomain</samp>.</li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">Ok</span>.</span></li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Under <span class="uicontrol">Domain Management</span>, expand <samp class="codeph">MyCoEimDomain</samp>.
The <span class="uicontrol">Connect to EIM Domain Controller</span> dialog displays. </span> <div class="note"><span class="notetitle">Note:</span> Connect to the EIM domain controller before attempting to manage
the domain.</div>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>On the <span class="uicontrol">Connect to EIM Domain Controller</span> page,
enter the distinguished name and password that you created during the configuration
of the EIM domain controller and click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span>. </span> For
example, if you completed the <a href="rzamzenablessoos400.htm">Scenario:
Enable single signon for i5/OS™</a>, you would enter the distinguished name, <samp class="codeph">cn=administrator</samp>,
and password, <samp class="codeph">mycopwd</samp>.</li>
