<div><p>The iSeries™ Access
portlets provide support for accessing files on i5/OS™.</p>
<div class="section"><p>The list of available portlets is shown below.</p>
<dl><dt class="dlterm">iSeries File
List</dt>
<dd>iSeries File
List displays a list of files and directories for navigating the integrated
file system on i5/OS.
From the list, files can be viewed, downloaded and deleted. Files can be sent
to the iSeries File
List - Editor and iSeries File List - Viewer portlets for editing and
viewing. New directories can be created. Files can be uploaded from the local
workstation file system to the i5/OS integrated file system. Options are
provided to control how the list is displayed and which actions are available.</dd>

List - Editor</dt>
<dd>iSeries File
List - Editor can receive a file from user interaction with the iSeries File
List portlet and edit the file. Changes can be saved or discarded.</dd>
<dt class="dlterm">iSeries File
List - Viewer</dt>
<dd>iSeries File
List - Viewer can receive a file from user interaction with the iSeries File
List or iSeries Zip
File portlets and view the file. An option is provided to allow binary files
to be viewed in a separate browser window. A list of recently viewed files
can also be displayed.</dd>
<dt class="dlterm">iSeries File
Viewer</dt>
<dd>iSeries File
Viewer displays the content of a file in the integrated file system of i5/OS.
An option is provided to allow binary files to be viewed in a separate browser
window.</dd>
<dt class="dlterm">iSeries Zip
File</dt>
<dd>iSeries Zip
File can receive a zip file from user interaction with the iSeries File
List portlet and view the contents. A new zip file can also be created. Files
within the zip file can be viewed or deleted. Files can also be added. The
zip file can be extracted to the integrated file system of i5/OS. A list
of recently viewed zip files can also be displayed.</dd>
