<div><p>This information explains how to use a Lightweight Directory Access

Protocol (LDAP) with Enterprise Identity Mapping (EIM).</p>

<p>EIM uses a LDAP server as a <a href="rzalveserverdmnctrlr.htm#rzalveserverdmnctrlr">domain
|
|
controller</a> to store EIM data. Consequently, you should understand some
|
|
LDAP concepts that relate to configuring and using EIM in your enterprise.
|

For example, you can use an LDAP distinguished name as the user identity to
|
|
configure EIM and to authenticate to the EIM domain controller. </p>
