Quality of service: Performance limits - Differentiated service

Performance limits help you manage traffic by placing rate limits on this client's network traffic. The performance limits are applied to a policy through a class of service, which you create in the QoS wizards. The performance limits are called traffic management in the class of service. Start to think about the restrictions that you will set, and enter your best guess below. If you are unsure of what performance limits to apply, use the QoS monitor in iSeriesTM Navigator to experiment. Create a QoS policy to monitor most of your network traffic. When you start the monitor, you can observe your traffic within this very general policy. View your current network statistics. Based on the results, you can vary your policy configurations.

Do you want to apply performance limits to this policy?
