the symbol used to separate the date and time values. (QDATFMT, QDATSEP, QTIMSEP)</p>

<p><span class="uicontrol">Date and time</span>, also known as <span class="uicontrol">QDATFMT,

|
QDATSEP,</span> and <span class="uicontrol">QTIMSEP</span>, is a member of the
|
|
international category of i5/OS™ system values. You can use these system values
|
|
to set the format to use when displaying the date and to specify the symbol
|
|

and Time</span> functions. Your options include:</p>
|

<ul><li><span class="uicontrol">Date format (QDATFMT)</span> <p>Specifies the format to
|
|
use as the default format for the system. You may choose any of the following
|
|
formats for the date (the examples assume you have selected a slash as the
|
|
date separator):</p>
|
|
<ul><li><span class="uicontrol">Year Month Day</span> <p>For example: YY/MM/DD</p>
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li><span class="uicontrol">Month Day Year</span> <p>For example: MM/DD/YY</p>
|
|
</li>

<li><span class="uicontrol">Day Month Year</span> <p>For example: DD/MM/YY</p>
