<div><p>The correct line and controller descriptions will help you achieve
successful connections.</p>
<p>If you use SNA with a LAN protocol, this information will help you to successfully
connect to a remote system. The correct relationship between a line description
and a controller description helps to ensure connection establishment. A controller
description determines which line descriptions your server uses. Therefore,
you must ensure that the controller description refers to the correct line
description.</p>
<p>A line description also governs the number of active controllers that can
access it. By setting the MAXACT parameter number too small, you might prevent
the controller from accessing the server over the specific line description.
Therefore, you should set a large enough value to ensure the controller access
to the line.</p>
<p>The descriptions must also contain the correct information to ensure connection
