tool. The iSeries server
uses protocols, like Simple Message Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and Post Office
Protocol (POP), to make your e-mail run smoothly and efficiently on the network.</li>

you will be using e-mail on your iSeries server.</li>

You can set up e-mail by configuring TCP/IP, setting up Simple
Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and Post Office Protocol (POP) servers, and
starting the e-mail servers. You can set up your iSeries server to be an e-mail server.</li>

Your iSeries server
is a mail server and has e-mail users (SNADS, POP, or Lotus<sup>®</sup>) enrolled on it. Using either a
POP client or a SNADS client, your e-mail users can send, receive, and read
