<div><p>Determine if you have all the necessary software and hardware to

run Advanced Job Scheduler for Wireless.</p>
|
|
<p> The following elements are required to run the Advanced Job Scheduler
|
|
for Wireless:</p>
|
|
<ul><li>Licensed Program 5722-JS1 V5R3: The Advanced Job Scheduler product that
|
|
includes Advanced Job Scheduler for Wireless.</li>
|
|
<li>A device to run the function <ul><li>An Internet-enabled telephone with a wireless internet service</li>
|
|
<li>A PDA with a Web browser, a wireless modem, and a wireless internet service</li>
|
|
<li>A traditional Web browser on a workstation</li>
|
|
</ul>
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li>A server running i5/OS<sup>(R)</sup> V5R3 or later in a TCP/IP network.</li>
|
|
<li>A Web application server running on your central system, such as any of
|
|
the following: <ul><li>ASF Jakarta Tomcat Application server</li>
|
|
<li>Any other application server that runs on the central system, having the
|
|
capability to host servlets</li>
|
|
</ul>
|
|
</li>
|
|
<li>HTTP Server installed on the iSeries™ server</li>
|
|
<li>Identify your HTTP server with the Advanced Job Scheduler wireless feature.
|
|
To do this, connect to your iSeries system that has Advanced Job Scheduler installed
|
|
by using the character-based interface. Then, specify the following command: <blockquote>CALL

QIJS/QIJSCINT</blockquote>
