<div><p>Learn how to schedule jobs with PM <span class="keyword">iSeries™</span>.</p>

<div class="section"><p>Integral to the PM <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> software
|
|
is a scheduler that automatically starts the jobs that are necessary to support
|
|
the PM <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> performance
|
|
data collection and analysis.</p>
|
|
<p>Part of the PM <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> software
|
|
activation process includes starting a job that is called Q1PSCH. This job,
|
|
in turn, starts other jobs as shown in the following table:</p>
|
|
<p>To access
|
|
the PM <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> scheduled jobs,
|
|
do the following:</p>
|
|
</div>
|
|
<ol><li><span>Type <span class="uicontrol">GO PM400</span> from the command line.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Type a 2 from the PM eServer™ <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> Menu
|
|
and press Enter. The Work with Automatically Scheduled Jobs display appears.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>You can change the status for each job from active to inactive.
|
|
Type a 2 (Change) next to the job that you want to change and press Enter.
|
|
You are shown the Change Automatically Scheduled Jobs display.</span></li>
|
|
</ol>
