<h2 id="win2kxp">Use iSeries NetServer print shares with Windows 2000, Windows XP, and
Windows Server 2003 clients</h2>
<p>You can use your Windows client to access iSeries print shares
with iSeries NetServer&trade;. To do this, follow these steps:</p>
<p><span class="bold">For Windows 2000, or Windows XP:</span></p>
<ol type="1">
<li>Open <span class="bold">My Network Places</span>.</li>
<li>Double-click <span class="bold">Computers Near Me</span>.</li>
<li>Select the system name of iSeries NetServer on the iSeries server.</li>
<li>Open iSeries NetServer by double-clicking the found computer.</li>
<li>Right-click a shared printer and select <span class="bold">Open</span>.</li>
<li>If prompted, select <span class="bold">Yes</span> to set up the printer on
your computer.</li>
<li>If prompted, select the appropriate print device driver for the shared
printer.</li>
<li>Click <span class="bold">Next</span>.</li>
<li>When you have properly set up the shared printer, click <span class="bold">Finish</span>.</li></ol>
<p><span class="bold">For Windows Server 2003:</span></p>
<ol type="1">
<li>Open <span class="bold">Windows Explorer</span>.</li>
<li>Expand <span class="bold">My Network Places</span>.</li>
<li>Expand <span class="bold">Entire Network</span>.</li>
<li>Expand <span class="bold">Microsoft Windows Network</span>.</li>
<li>Expand the domain node.</li>
<li>Select the system name of iSeries NetServer on the iSeries server.</li>
<li>Open iSeries NetServer by double-clicking the found computer.</li>
<li>Right-click a shared printer and select <span class="bold">Open</span>.</li>
<li>If prompted, select <span class="bold">Yes</span> to set up the printer on
your computer.</li>
<li>If prompted, select the appropriate print device driver for the shared
printer.</li>
<li>Click <span class="bold">Next</span>.</li>
<li>When you have properly set up the shared printer, click <span class="bold">Finish</span>.</li></ol>
