of Licensed Internal Code and a more recent update of i5/OS to support new

hardware. </span></p>

<p>This is not a backup and recovery procedure. If you have ordered
|
|
feature code 2693, follow these tasks to replace the Licensed Internal Code
|
|
and the <span class="keyword">IBM<sup>®</sup> i5/OS™</span> operating
|
|
system.</p>

Permanently apply Licensed Internal Code and operating system PTFs by using the following commands as recommended before all installations (the delay option is chosen so you can schedule the IPL).</li>
