<div><p>The testing of a globalization-enabled product should be done in
the phases listed in this topic.</p>
<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Test the running code</span> <p>The running code should be
tested in a globalization support environment in order to check all the possible
language-dependent combinations. Translators should not test the product functionality.</p>
</li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Check the textual data</span> <p>The textual data should be
tested to check correct translation and consistency throughout the product.</p>
</li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Integrate the running code and textual data</span> <p>After the textual data and the code have been tested separately,
an integration test should be performed to test if the application has taken
into account all the globalization-related processing, and that the translation
of the textual data has not caused a malfunction in the product.</p>
<p>If
your application will also run on a multinational or multilingual system a
separate test that includes more than one set of textual data should be planned.</p>
