<div><p>A scan would occur if the object is accessed after an object has

|
changed or has been modified.</p>
|
|
<p>Normally, the modification occurs in the object's data. Examples
|
|
of modifications to an object are writing to the object directly, or through
|
|
memory mapping, truncating the object, or clearing the object. If the object's
|
|
CCSID attribute changes, this will also trigger a scan on the next access.</p>
|
