<ul><li>Positions occupied by double-byte characters as compared to the positions

occupied by alphanumeric characters</li>

<li>Shift-control characters</li>
|

<li>Keyboard shift (if any)</li>

<p>For graphic-DBCS fields: </p>

<ul><li>Length is specified as the number of DBCS characters with no shift-control

characters</li>
