<h2>Authentication APIs</h2>
<p>The authentication APIs are used to provide authentication to the
Transport-Independent Remote Procedure Call (TI-RPC) applications. These APIs
enable a client to pass appropriate information as required by a remote
service.</p>
<p>The authentication APIs are:</p>

<li><A HREF="auth_destroy.htm">auth_destroy()</A> (Destroy authentication information) destroys the authentication information structure that is pointed to by the auth parameter.</li>
<li><A HREF="authnone_create.htm">authnone_create()</A> (Create null authentication) creates and returns a default RPC authentication handle that passes null authentication information with each remote procedure call.</li>
<li><A HREF="authsys_create.htm">authsys_create()</A> (Create authentication with OS permission) creates and returns an RPC authentication handle that contains authentication information.</li>
