<div><p>This information provides a table that shows each control panel
function and whether each type of control panel supports it.</p>
<div class="section"><p>There are few functional differences among the remote control
panel, virtual control panel, and physical control panel. The main difference
is that the physical control panel and the remote control panel, when it is
cabled directly to the server, can power up the iSeries™ server. The virtual control panel
and the remote control panel, if it is connected through a LAN, cannot power
up the server.</p>
<p>The following table describes all of the control panel
functions and whether the virtual control panel and remote control panel support
them.</p>
<p>The following table lists the code for the control panel functions
and the descriptions of the control panel functions.</p>

<li>The <samp class="codeph">x</samp> can be any number 0 through 9, any letter A through
F, or a blank.</li>
<li>If you have selected a function, find the selected function in the table
below and verify that you have completed the correct function.</li>
<li>If you cannot change the <var class="varname">Function/Data</var> display or
complete the selected function, contact your service provider.</li>
