<div><p>If you cannot upgrade your server to an 8 <var class="varname">xx</var> model,
you can migrate the data from your server to a new model. For information
about migrating your data to a new server, see Migration.</p>
<p>You can upgrade the capacity of select servers without upgrading to a new
server by activating one or more standby processors on that server. In fact,
before you can upgrade your server, all of the processors on that server must
be activated. For more information, see the Capacity on Demand topic.</p>
