<h2 id="rzahqenspi">Enroll a single i5/OS user to the Windows environment using iSeries Navigator</h2>

<p>Create an i5/OS™ user profile for the user if one does not already exist. You can
|
|
find information about creating i5/OS user profiles in the <a href="../books/sc415302.pdf" target="_blank">iSeries™ Security Reference</a>
|
|

<p>To enroll a single user to the Windows environment, follow these steps:</p>
|
|
<ol type="1">
|
|
<li>In iSeries Navigator, expand <span class="bold">Integrated Server Administration</span>—><span class="bold">Servers</span> or <span class="bold">Domains</span>.</li>
|
|
<li>Right-click an available Windows domain or server from the list and select <span class="bold">Enroll Users</span>.
|
|
<p><span class="bold">Note:</span> Do not select
|
|
a Windows workgroup. Enrollment to a workgroup is not supported.</p></li>
|
|
<li>Select to enter the user name or choose the user name from the list.</li>
|
|
<li>(Optional) If you want to use a user template as a basis for user settings,
|
|
specify a Windows user to use as a template when creating the user on Windows.
|
|
Remember that if you change the user template after you enroll a user, the
|
|
changes will not affect the user.</li>

<li>Click <span class="bold">Enroll</span>.</li></ol>
