The window services APIs consist of two functional groups: the window
builder and window manager services. The window builder APIs provide the
services needed to create, delete, move, and resize windows. The window builder
services include the window manipulation and query APIs, and the window I/O
APIs. The window manager APIs provide the services needed to manage multiple
windows, support I/O to several active windows, and switch between windows.
