<h1 class="topictitle1">Delete an entry using the IBM Telephone Directory V5.2 application</h1>

<div><p>Find information on how to delete entries in the application.</p>
|
|
<div class="section"><p>In the IBM<sup>®</sup> Telephone Directory V5.2 application, you can delete
|
|
search entries if the application administrator allows users to delete directory
|
|
entries. If visible, the link allows you to delete the directory entry and
|
|
remove all associated listing information from the directory if you are authorized
|
|
to delete the entry.</p>
|
|
<p>To delete an entry, perform the following steps:</p>
|
|

<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Access the IBM Telephone Directory application by entering the following
|
|
URL in your Web browser: </span> <pre>http://<em>your.server.name:port</em>/ibm-bizApps/welcome/home.do</pre>
|

<p>where <em>your.server.name</em> is the name of the server where IBM Telephone Directory V5.2 is installed
|
|
and <em>port</em> is the port number that was specified during installation.</p>
|

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">IBM Telephone Directory</span>.</span></li>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">Search</span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Enter criteria to search for, and click <span class="uicontrol">Search</span>.</span></li>
|

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">Delete Entry</span>.</span> Enter your
|
|
user ID and password, if necessary.</li>
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span>.</span></li>
