<p>If you want to use a time maintenance application to synchronize your system

time with an external time source, you need to configure the time maintenance
|
|
application on each system. You can use the SNTP time maintenance application
|
|
or an application of your own.</p>
|

<p>For your time maintenance application to make the necessary time adjustments,
|
|
your system must meet the proper software and hardware requirements. To make
|
|
time adjustments, you must be using a version of i5/OS™ V5R3 or later with V4R5 or later
|
|
hardware.</p>
