<div class="p">You should plan the security for any new applications as carefully as you

planned for your original applications. Follow the same procedures: <ol><li>Prepare an Application Description worksheet and Library Description worksheet

for the application.</li>

|
<li>Update your diagram of applications, libraries, and user groups.</li>
|
|
<li>Follow the procedures in <span class="q">"Planning resource security"</span> to decide how
|
|
to secure the new application.</li>
|
|
<li>Prepare an Application Installation worksheet by using the method described
|
|
in <span class="q">"Planning your application installation."</span></li>
|
|
<li>Evaluate whether any printer output from the application is confidential
|
|
and needs protection. Update your Output Queue and Workstation Security worksheet,
|
|
if necessary.</li>
|
|
<li>Follow the steps described in <span class="q">"Setting up ownership and public authority"</span> and <span class="q">"Setting
|
|
up resource security"</span> to install and secure the application.</li>
