<div><p>The load source unit is the storage unit that contains the initial programs
|
|
and data that are used during an initial program load (IPL) of the system.
|
|
The load source unit is typically configured as an internal storage unit,
|
|
but can also be configured as an external storage unit located on a storage
|
|
area network (SAN).</p>
|
