<h4 id="rzaluiptprtascii">Print to an ASCII printer with image print transform</h4>
|
|
<p>To enable the image print transform function when printing to an ASCII
|
|
printer, do the following: </p>
|
|
<ul>
|
|
<li>Ensure that the spooled file is a *USERASCII spooled file.</li>
|
|
<li>Verify that the printer device description has the TRANSFORM field set
|
|
to *YES.</li>
|
|
<li>Verify that the printer device description has the IMGCFG field set to
|
|
a valid value other than *NONE.</li></ul>
|
|
<p>The TRANSFORM field and the IMGCFG field can be set when the device description
|
|
is created with the Create Device Desc (Printer) (CRTDEVPRT) command, or changed
|
|
after the device description was created with the Change Device Desc (Printer)
|
|
(CHGDEVPRT) command.</p>
