<div><p>You will have to stop and start (vary off and vary on) the NWSD

to IPL a logical partition running Linux.</p>

<div class="p">Use either of the following methods to do this:</div>

<div><div class="section">To stop the NWSD, do the following:</div>

<ol><li><span>Click <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Network</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Windows
|
|
Administration</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Integrated xSeries Server</span></span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Right-click the name of the NWSD that you want to stop.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">Shut Down</span>.</span></li>
|
|
</ol>

<ol><li><span>Click <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Network</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Windows

Administration</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Integrated xSeries Server</span></span>.</span></li>

<li><span>Right-click the name of the NWSD that you want to start.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">Start</span>.</span></li>
|
|
</ol>

CL command, do the following:</div>

<ol><li><span>Type <kbd class="userinput">WRKCFGSTS *NWS</kbd> and press <span class="uicontrol">Enter</span>.</span></li>
|
|
<li><span>Type <kbd class="userinput">2</kbd> next to the NWSD that you want to
|
|
stop and press <span class="uicontrol">Enter</span>.</span></li>
|
|
</ol>
