<div><p>Use this field-level keyword for named, output-only fields (but
|
|
not message or program-to-system fields) that are defined so that they overflow
|
|
onto subsequent display lines.</p>
|
|
<div class="section"><p>The keyword causes folding to occur at a blank in the data rather
|
|
than at the end of the display line. It is used to make long text fields easier
|
|
to read. The default is for the data to be folded at the end
|
|
of the physical line.</p>
|
|
<p>This keyword has no parameters.</p>
|
|
<p>When BLKFOLD
|
|
is used, the field length is not increased. Therefore, it is possible for
|
|
a portion of the output data to be truncated.</p>
|
|
<p>You cannot specify the
|
|
BLKFOLD keyword on a floating-point field (F in position 35).</p>
|
|
<p>Option
|
|
indicators are not valid for this keyword.</p>
|
|
